A bit after their conversation about dwarves and mountains, Rask perks up suddenly, looks around and approached Alexis.
“Alexis, do you remember the song Grimsby Thorne was signing when we first met him? The Cycle of Neef? Neef was the squire right? But Igvar, his master, was a holy crusader of Raiden and founded Fellsbee… right? There was something about a wizard too…”

“I remember the song. The wizard was some sort of necromancer. Miraden and the wizard disappeared. Ingvar founded Fellsby. Ingvar must be so disappointed at that wherever he is.
“Anyway, what was it about the necromancer that caught your attention?”
“I was just trying to remember the song, I’ve been thinking about Fellsby, and wondering why. Do you remember why Ingvar chose the spot he did? Dauntless was re-forged there, by Torr, right? Was Dauntless forged there the first time?”
“Ca’armine’s been talking about Fellsby. Perhaps he’s rubbing off on you. Or your tattoos are attuned to his Fellsby-orientation.
“Off the top of my head, I don’t recall the song saying why Ingvar chose the location, but that part of Aegir has a lot going for it.
“And, yeah, Dauntless was reforged there. Definitely curious to know what that process looked like. Hard to imagine a forge as good as the one the dragon had.”
“I wish I knew more about that sword, but I need more research time, that we just haven’t had.”
“A dragon forged Dauntless? What dragon is this now? Which time?”
Alexis gives a short, hearty laugh.
“Just because a dragon possesses a forge doesn’t mean the creature knows how to use it. And that forge has nothing to do with Dauntless… presumably.”
“Are you talking about the forge you found in the Twins? When you trapped the black acid-spitting beast and lost the elven sword Ethelred had been abusing?”
Rask looks confused.
Alexis gives smile “that’s the one. It was a beauty.”
