Rask approaches Alexis in moment where the others are busy.
”Alexis, have you ever heard of Raiden being named a Storm God?”
Rask looks around warily, “My connection to Aegir is lost here, and it has been difficult…”
He gestured at the tattoos on his chest and back. Clearly a saddened and a bit lost.
“I have a vague… memory? “My… grandmother? Referring to Raiden as the Storm God…”
Rask’s brown furrows… Alexis gets the sense that’s not quite right, and that Rask is hoping for help understanding…
“Storm god?” this seems like a new idea to Alexis.
“I would expect Boreas to be seen as a benevolent god of storms and the Emoi to be the malicious storm gods.”
“Have you talked to Ca’armine about this? He doesn’t seem very well versed on the gods generally, but he might have some sort of ‘truth’ or ‘vision’ from Raiden regarding His supposed storm-nature.” Alexis gives Rask the space to say more.
Rask nearly glances in Ca’armine’s direction, and shrugs.
“Perhaps…” he mutters, , not looking at the Black Blade either, then looks at Alexis,
“Boreas is of the North, cold and strong, storms from the North are His Gifts, willful children are said to be touched by Boreas, so are angry men… and women.”
Rask smiles for a moment, clearly thinking of someone…
“Each of the great Anemoi are connected to storms in their own way, Zephrus to spring storms that come in fast and speed the first growths of the year… But Boreas perhaps most of all…”
“As for the Emoi… they do take advantage of anger and wilfullness, just as they twist Eurus’ mysteries, make Notus’ warmth oppresive and wilting…”
Rask ponders for a moment, lost in thought.
Alexis looks pleased that Rask has found the answer about the storm go, gives a slight nod towards Rask and makes to get back to what he was doing.
