“There are scholars who say that all the gods sleep and that we simply live in their collective dream. Others talk about a master-sleeper who dreams of the gods who dream of us.
“As for TyLynn,” Alexis shrugs “the plants still grow, the animals still frolic, hunt, and die.
“Some in the collegium have said that Ty-Lyn is in the process of passing on to another phase. This is a period of transition for her (and other gods) where her duties/powers are slowly distributed to other gods. Some say this is what’s happening with the elves as well, and that the orcs are taking over their lineage. This seems like hogwash. But perhaps we will inherit some of the traits of the elves. Clearly we should find their old places and claim them for ourselves. Many secrets; much treasure!”
Telosh looks at Gustav as Alexis discusses frolicsome fauna.
His eyebrows arch at the mention of elves and orcs, and he notes the bracers the ranger wears.
“Treasure would be good, I’m getting low on coin again, and it’s a long way back to Sutheron.”
Gustav had snorted on the rabbit he was eating after Alexis said “Some in the collegium”. As Alexis kept talking Gustav quietly said in a mocking tone “Some in the collegium” while smiling and looking into the fire.
When Telosh diverts his gaze to Gustav, he looks confused. Then Telosh looks back at Alexis. A few minutes later Gustav looks up, seems to have realized something and says “Ohhh”. Then Gustav gives Telosh a dirty look.
