Telosh approaches Alexis when Gustav is busy elsewhere.
“Alexis, I have been wondering about the crow… The Crows really. And… Malor.”
“Do you think the crow that keeps following us is connect to Malor in some way? Crows generally?”

Alexis shrugs “the powers have their symbols. Are all crows tainted by Malor? Could be. Could be that ravens are the ‘true form’ and crows are some form of tainted form; a form that keeps us humans from knowing the true nature of the corruption.” Alexis shrugs again. “Sounds like a question for Car-Noah.”
“Clearly there’s something about the crow. But it might not be directly connected to Malor. Actually, it would be very, very weird if it was directly connected. I think it would have pecked someone’s eyes out by now.” Alexis shrugs again light-heartedly.
“My copper is on your connecting the feathers with Malor in your ritual. Some scholars say that every beast can be used to channel several powers. It’s one of the reasons so many scholars stay away from animal magics. Plant magics too, actually. Yeah, the scholars say that the same animal could be used to channel Malor, or Droman, or Ty-Lyn, or the Bear Gods. The intention is obviously important and which power is ‘most receptive’ to the sorts of magic in play. Hard to imagine the Bear Gods would have wanted to be part of that working.”
Alexis pauses to see if Telosh has any additional questions.
Telosh nods thoughtfully, considering Alexis response.
“Do you have any idea why Gus hates that crow so much?
“Ooo, asking me to know the mind of our woodsman. That’s going to be a tough one.”
“Perhaps the crow is anathema to his god. Given how craven he is around the crow, it’s a small miracle he survived Malor’s servants. Perhaps now he will do what he feels he must with the crow.” Alexis shrugs.
“Given how much you appreciated the crow, perhaps it is in alignment with your god.” Alexis gives Telosh a wink.
Telosh smiles, and winks back.
