Two wyverns were seen flying over the Copper Hills fort very recently.
Shortly after the group has left the Copper Hills fort Alexis addresses Ethelred, “what was that back there? It was like you wanted them to show you to a cell and an inquisitioner. For my part, I’d like to avoid that path for the time being.”
Alexis looks at Ethelred expectantly as they continue away from the fort.
“That was just talk. Everyone talks. Swapping stories is what we do. Did I really step out of line? Are we on a secret mission? Should we be ashamed of the deeds we have done? What happened to glory to the heroes?”
“These are your people, but if these soldiers are like the ones I saw, and heard of, in Sutheron then I’d wager a pretty copper you were about two sentences away from a superior being appeaised of the situation. I’m not sure how long our stay will be welcome after your tales of heresy against your god-king.”
Alexis seems to be taking the situation in stride, a bit incongruous with his words.
